Kayaka Yojana Benefits

Support from the government is provided to women and self-help groups (SHGs) to promote self-employment, thereby leading to an increase in employment opportunities.
By participating in the plan, the SHG members will have the opportunity to enhance their financial situations through the provision of financial assistance.
The program offers a primary advantage for women, as they can easily access loans through it. The standout feature of this scheme is that the loans are provided to applicants at zero interest.
If the applicant accepts less than Rs. 5 Lakhs, no interest will be charged on the loan. However, if the sum is between Rs. 5 lakhs and Rs. 10 lakhs, they will need to pay a 4% interest rate.
The state government has made public a list of cooperative banks from which the applicant can choose to obtain their loan.
The loan amount ranges from one to ten lakh Indian rupees.
The Karnataka State government intends to buy the finalized products crafted by members of the SHGs. Consequently, the selected participants will gain a dependable source of income.

Individuals who have chosen Karnataka as their permanent residence are invited to submit an application for this program.

The candidate must have a total household income of less than Rs. 20,000 per month in order to be eligible for registration under the scheme. Those with a total income exceeding Rs. 20,000 cannot be registered.
